About the role
Prospero Teaching is seeking an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join a thriving secondary school in Southeast London. The role offers the chance to inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the possibility of teaching Key Stage 5, and to shape a forward‑looking curriculum that builds digital literacy and computational thinking.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons for Key Stages 3, 4 and, where appropriate, 5.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback and intervene to support learners.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the Computer Science curriculum.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote high standards of teaching and learning.
Required profile
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Strong subject knowledge in Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Commitment to achieving excellent outcomes for all students.
- Effective classroom management and communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for professional development and continuous improvement.
Required skills
- In‑depth knowledge of Computer Science concepts and programming fundamentals.
