Computing Tutor – International Study Centre

About the role

We are seeking a Computing Tutor to join the teaching team at Liverpool John Moores University International Study Centre. The role involves delivering computing modules to international students on university preparation programmes, using a blended learning approach.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality teaching to groups of international students, following module handbooks and schemes of work.
• Mark assessments and provide formative and summative feedback in line with quality standards.
• Act as Module Leader where required, coordinating tutors, updating handbooks and preparing assessment analysis reports.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades and progression risk, and contribute to student progress reports.
• Promote differentiation, technology‑enhanced learning and effective use of the virtual learning environment.
• Organise and deliver enrichment activities both inside and outside the classroom.
• Support pastoral duties, ensuring punctuality, attendance and appropriate behaviour.

• Salary up to £35,276.04 per annum.
