Concierge – Customer Service & Membership Sales

About the role

GLL is seeking a friendly and proactive Concierge for Helston Sports Centre. You will be the first point of contact for visitors, providing a warm welcome and helping them discover the centre’s membership options.

Key responsibilities

• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to enquiries.
• Process transactions, set up direct debits and handle cash.
• Promote and sell memberships to new and existing customers.
• Provide first‑class customer service and resolve queries.
• Support the team by preparing studios, gyms and sports halls for activities and maintaining cleanliness.
• Participate in community outreach projects as needed.

Required profile

• A can‑do attitude with a strong focus on customer service.
• Excellent communication and numeracy skills.
• Team‑player who can adapt to a flexible schedule.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety procedures.
• Experience in administration and cash handling.

Required skills

• Good IT literacy.
