Concierge – Luxury Guest Services

About the role

The Concierge at Fairmont Cheshire, The Mere delivers personalised, intuitive guest experiences that reflect the elegance and heritage of the Fairmont brand. Acting as a trusted ambassador, you will provide thoughtful recommendations, seamless arrangements and anticipatory service from the moment of enquiry to departure.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm, polished and personalised approach, embodying Fairmont’s luxury service philosophy.
• Provide expert recommendations on dining, activities, transportation and local attractions tailored to individual preferences.
• Coordinate reservations, transportation, courier services and bespoke experiences with precision.
• Maintain an elegant presence in the lobby, anticipating guest needs and offering proactive assistance.
• Support VIP and special‑attention guests, ensuring bespoke touches and seamless arrangements.
• Collaborate with Front Office, Guest Relations, Spa, F&B and Housekeeping to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
• Maintain detailed guest profiles, preferences and accurate records of requests and bookings.
• Handle guest enquiries, concerns and service recovery with discretion and refined communication.

Required profile

• Strong local knowledge of Knutsford and the surrounding Cheshire area.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• High attention to detail and a proactive, solution‑focused mindset.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure during peak arrival and departure periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel reservation and booking systems.
• Ability to manage luggage services, deliveries and guest amenities accurately.
• Familiarity with coordinating transportation and external service providers.
