Construction Laboratory Technician – Temp to Perm, Driving Required

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Laboratory Technician to join a busy materials testing team in Uxbridge. This temporary‑to‑permanent position offers full training and the chance to develop a long‑term career in construction material testing.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, handle and test construction material samples in a laboratory environment.
• Record and report test results accurately following laboratory procedures.
• Maintain laboratory housekeeping, equipment upkeep and health & safety compliance.
• Travel to different sites as required to collect samples or support testing activities.
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet testing deadlines.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence for site travel.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.
• Ability to follow written procedures and instructions.
• Positive attitude with willingness to learn.

Required skills

• CSCS Card (desirable).
