Construction Manager – Blockwork (South West England)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to lead the blockwork package on a flagship advanced manufacturing development in South West England. You will coordinate multiple buildings, work closely with project managers and ensure safe, on‑time delivery of high‑quality masonry works.

Key responsibilities

• Manage delivery of the blockwork package across several buildings on a large‑scale live construction site.
• Collaborate with multiple Project Managers to align programme sequencing and package interfaces.
• Oversee specialist blockwork subcontractors, ensuring safety, schedule adherence and quality standards.
• Review construction drawings, specifications and installation methodologies.
• Plan labour, materials and logistics to optimise package delivery across multiple work fronts.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Construction Manager, Package Manager, Senior Site Manager or Blockwork Manager on major projects.
• Strong background managing masonry or blockwork packages across large‑scale developments.
• Main contractor experience delivering complex construction projects.
• Ability to build collaborative relationships with project teams.
• Experience in data‑centre, industrial, manufacturing, pharmaceutical or other technically demanding environments.
