Construction Manager – Data Centres

About the role

We are partnering with a leading data centre provider to find an experienced Construction Manager to lead the delivery of major infrastructure projects across their portfolio. Based on‑site in Corsham, you will manage complex construction programmes from inception through to handover, ensuring they meet time, budget and quality targets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site delivery of data centre construction projects, maintaining schedule, budget and quality.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants and internal stakeholders to drive progress and resolve issues.
• Monitor health and safety compliance throughout all construction phases.
• Review and manage project documentation, including risk assessments, method statements and progress reports.
• Ensure alignment with technical specifications and regulatory requirements.
• Support commissioning and handover processes to achieve operational readiness.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale construction projects, preferably in data centres, critical infrastructure or high‑tech environments.
• Strong understanding of mechanical & electrical (M&E) systems, structural works and fit‑out phases.
• Relevant construction qualifications and certifications such as SMSTS, CSCS or NEBOSH.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proactive problem‑solving approach and eligibility for DV clearance.

What we offer

• Competitive salary between £70,000 and £80,000 per year, dependent on experience.
