Construction Project Manager – London

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead a range of construction and property projects from feasibility through to handover. Based in London, you will act as the primary client contact and ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Manage construction and property projects from inception to completion and handover.
• Maintain strong client relationships and serve as the main point of contact.
• Develop and monitor project programmes, budgets, and delivery strategies.
• Coordinate consultants, contractors, design teams and other stakeholders.
• Track project performance, risks, opportunities and mitigation measures.
• Produce programme, financial and risk reports for clients and directors.
• Chair project meetings and ensure agreed actions are completed.
• Support procurement, contract administration and project governance.
• Monitor quality, costs, change control and key financial milestones.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering construction or property projects within a consultancy or client‑side environment.
• Relevant degree in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Architecture, Building Surveying or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of construction delivery, procurement routes and contract administration.
• Commercial awareness with experience monitoring project costs and budgets.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Professional membership (RICS, APM, CIOB or ICE) is beneficial; professional‑development support is available.
