Construction Senior Associate / Legal Director (Partner level)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced construction lawyer to join a leading regional law firm as a Construction Senior Associate, Legal Director or Partner. The role is strategic, offering the chance to shape and expand the firm’s construction practice across the South Coast and London.

Key responsibilities

• Provide expert advice on both contentious and non‑contentious construction matters to developers, housebuilders, investors, contractors and public sector organisations.
• Collaborate closely with Real Estate Development, Planning and Corporate teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Lead the development of the construction offering, contributing to the firm’s growth strategy.
• Maintain high‑quality client relationships and support business development initiatives.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years post‑qualification experience (PQE) in construction law.
• Proven ability to work at senior associate, legal director or partner level.
• Strong analytical and commercial mindset with a collaborative approach.
• Willingness to influence practice direction and mentor junior colleagues.
