Construction Senior Associate – Solicitor (3+ years PQE)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified solicitor to join our Construction team as a Senior Associate. The role involves managing an existing caseload of construction law matters and contributing to the growth of the team across our offices.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a busy and varied construction law caseload, delivering high‑quality advice and documentation.
• Liaise with supervisors to balance workload and ensure excellent client service.
• Support and supervise junior team members and collaborate with other service line teams.
• Contribute to team objectives, develop precedent banks, and produce thought‑leadership content such as blogs and LinkedIn posts.
• Promote the firm’s values internally and externally and assist with training initiatives.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 3 years post‑qualification experience.
• Proven experience in construction law, both non‑contentious and contentious matters.
• Ability to take on an existing caseload immediately and work flexibly.

Required skills

• Construction law expertise, including drafting JCT, NEC, IChemE and FIDIC contracts.
• Experience with Technology & Construction Court procedures and Part 8 claims.
• Proficiency in ADR processes such as adjudication, arbitration and mediation.
