Construction Site Inspector – Kent

About the role

Reporting to the Construction Manager, you will support the delivery of construction projects for small‑format outdoor advertising products across Kent. The role ensures that bus shelters, digital screens and free‑standing ad units are installed safely, on schedule and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Visit construction sites regularly to inspect activities and conduct technical surveys.
• Identify and flag potential issues with proposed works and ensure compliance with company procedures.
• Carry out Health & Safety audits, hold contractors accountable and work with the H&S team to resolve findings.
• Resolve snagging issues with subcontractors and report to the Project Manager.
• Perform build sign‑off audits, track stock movements and manage regional stock audits.
• Record data accurately in online systems, including RAMS and other H&S documentation.
• Support ad‑hoc initiatives such as tender assistance when required.
• Maintain strong communication with external contractors and internal project teams.

Required profile

• Hands‑on on‑site experience in construction.
• Ability to read and interpret RAMS, safe systems of work and risk assessments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• Site surveying and technical viability assessment.
• Health & Safety compliance, including H&S audits.
• Knowledge of CDM 2015, NRSWA and Lifting Operations regulations.
• Familiarity with RAMS documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
