Construction Solicitor (Non-Contentious) – 3+ Years PQE

About the role

We are seeking a Construction Solicitor (Non‑Contentious) with at least three years post‑qualification experience to join our Bristol team. The role offers the chance to work on a wide range of high‑profile construction and infrastructure disputes within a collaborative and supportive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise a diverse portfolio of clients on construction and infrastructure matters across multiple sectors.
• Manage adjudications, court proceedings, arbitration, mediation and other alternative dispute resolution processes.
• Handle claims relating to payment, delay, defects, professional negligence, contract interpretation and project risk management.
• Support dispute avoidance strategies and provide commercial judgement throughout project lifecycles.

Required profile

• Minimum three years PQE specialising in contentious construction law.
• Strong enthusiasm for the construction and infrastructure sector.
• Knowledge of adjudication and court litigation; arbitration or other ADR experience is advantageous.
• Familiarity with standard form construction contracts such as JCT and NEC.
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building and ability to manage competing priorities with attention to detail.
• Collaborative mindset and ambition to contribute to team growth.
