About the role
Direct Medics is seeking a Consultant in Geriatric and Stroke Medicine to provide locum cover at Craigavon Area Hospital. The assignment runs from 2 November 2026 to 27 November 2026, Monday to Friday, 9 am‑5 pm.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive geriatric and stroke care to in‑patients and out‑patients.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to patient management plans.
- Ensure documentation complies with NHS and HSE standards.
Required profile
- Valid GMC registration with a full licence to practise.
- Right to work in the UK.
- Minimum six months of relevant experience in a similar consultant role within the UK.
Required skills
- Expertise in elderly medicine and stroke management.
- Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced hospital environment.
