Consultant Psychologist

About the role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Consultant Psychologist to join a leading UK healthcare provider in Leeds. The role is based in a locked rehabilitation recovery service, delivering integrated, active rehabilitation to support patients transitioning to community placements.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and promptly respond to referrals, conduct assessments and design effective therapy programmes.
- Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, ensuring interventions align with each client’s therapy plan.
- Manage an assigned caseload, maintaining regular communication with clients, colleagues and clinical staff.
- Keep accurate, up‑to‑date case notes, clinical reports and electronic records.
- Present client information at multidisciplinary team meetings.
- Lead and coordinate professional and clinical colleagues, providing psychotherapeutic advice and guidance.
- Assist with statistical data analysis for research and audit purposes.
Required profile
- Qualified Psychologist with current HCPC registration.
- Experience working with complex clients and delivering specialist interventions.
- Training in clinical supervision.
- Strong grasp of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and at least two additional therapeutic modalities.
- Leadership and management experience.
