About the role

Richard Nelson LLP is seeking experienced solicitors to join its national consultancy model as self‑employed consultants. The role offers full flexibility to work remotely or from an office while maintaining the support of a large, reputable law firm.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a personal caseload of disciplinary, commercial, and professional matters.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, ensuring high‑quality legal advice.
• Generate revenue through fee‑earning activities and meet billing targets.
• Collaborate with the firm’s compliance, admin, and accounts teams.
• Participate in regular in‑house training and use firm‑provided legal precedents.

Required profile

• Senior solicitor with post‑qualification experience.
• Proven ability to manage cases independently.
• Existing client base capable of delivering at least £100,000 annual billing.
• Desire for autonomy and a modern practice structure.
