Content Specialist – SEO & AI Search (Reading)

About the role

We are looking for a Content Specialist to lead SEO‑driven content creation and optimisation for our B2C eCommerce portfolio. You will work on a variety of digital touchpoints, ensuring content meets both traditional SEO standards and emerging AI‑search expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and optimise SEO‑led content that drives organic traffic, engagement and revenue.
• Conduct keyword, topic and competitor research using SEMrush and Ahrefs.
• Write high‑quality copy for blogs, product pages, landing pages and campaign assets.
• Optimise existing content for featured snippets, answer engines and AI‑driven search experiences.
• Collaborate with paid media, product and marketing teams to align strategies and messaging.

Required profile

• Proven experience in SEO content marketing, preferably within B2C eCommerce.
• Strong understanding of GEO, AEO and AI‑search trends.
• Ability to analyse performance data and translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Excellent written communication skills with a focus on EEAT principles.

• On‑page SEO best practices including metadata, internal linking, heading structure and schema markup.
