Content Writer – Technical Marketing (3‑month contract)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Content Writer to support a major marketing transformation programme for a leading UK technology and engineering organisation. The role is a three‑month contract, hybrid working with at least two days per week on site in Romsey.

Key responsibilities

• Produce white papers, thought‑leadership pieces, technical guides, blogs and other long‑form content for four strategic marketing campaigns.
• Translate complex engineering and technology concepts into clear, customer‑focused copy.
• Refresh existing marketing assets and build a scalable content library.
• Ensure all content follows SEO best practice, brand guidelines and the new tone of voice.
• Collaborate with product marketing, campaign teams, subject‑matter experts, senior stakeholders and external agencies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in content writing, technical writing or content marketing within a B2B technology, engineering, defence or similar sector.
• Ability to work with senior stakeholders and technical SMEs.
• Strong interviewing, research and storytelling capabilities.
• Experience managing multiple content projects and stakeholder reviews.

Required skills

• SEO‑optimised content creation.
• Familiarity with CMS platforms and content governance.
