Contentious Probate Solicitor – £55,000 to £65,000 DOE

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Contentious Probate Solicitor to join our specialist dispute resolution team in Buckinghamshire. The role offers high‑quality work, early responsibility and hybrid working within a supportive, collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Advise clients on complex wills, trusts and estate disputes, including Inheritance Act claims and challenges to will validity.
• Prepare correspondence, court documents and instruct counsel where appropriate.
• Progress matters through negotiation, mediation, settlement or trial.
• Manage a varied caseload of executor, personal representative and trust disputes.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with NQ‑3 years PQE, or a trainee seat in contentious probate.
• Experience in contentious probate or civil litigation.
• Strong drafting and client‑care abilities with a commercial approach to dispute resolution.
• Interest in business development and building client relationships.
