Contingent Workforce Project Manager – Procurement

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Contingent Workforce Project Manager to lead the evolution and expansion of our client’s global contingent workforce programme. The role sits at the intersection of HR, procurement and finance, partnering with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to scale the programme across Europe and EMEA while ensuring strong governance and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Support delivery and continuous improvement of the contingent workforce programme, with a focus on MSP‑supported labour solutions.
• Collaborate with the MSP and internal partners to execute contingent labour processes and resolve service delivery issues.
• Lead procurement activities for the external workforce category, analysing demand and aligning sourcing with broader category strategy.
• Champion governance, change and continuous improvement across procurement and contingent workforce streams, optimising process efficiency, controls and user experience.
• Build and maintain collaborative relationships with internal stakeholders and MSP partners, negotiating solutions and resolving complex issues with senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Procurement or equivalent.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in procurement, contingent workforce management, staffing or MSP operations.
• Proven experience leading or transforming contingent workforce programmes in large, enterprise environments, preferably within Europe/EMEA.
• Strong understanding of governance, compliance and supplier management for contingent labour.
