Contract Manager

About the role

Iomart is creating a commercial‑led contract management function and needs a Contract Manager to design, embed and run it. You will sit at the intersection of Sales, Legal, Finance and Delivery, turning commercial intent into operational reality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and embed a contract management function, building robust processes and leading a new CLM system implementation.
• Migrate key data from the top 300 customer contracts into a central repository.
• Support pre‑signature activities by reviewing contract operability, flagging non‑standard terms and ensuring documentation is ready for hand‑over.
• Own contract onboarding and internal hand‑over post‑signature, validating commercial terms and acting as the primary contractual point of contact.
• Manage contracts through their full lifecycle, tracking obligations, SLAs, pricing changes, variations and governance activities.
• Drive early renewal decisions, support renegotiation, repricing or managed exits to protect value.
• Maintain a contract risk register and work closely with Legal on disputes, compliance and termination pathways.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of contract management experience, preferably in a technology or commercial environment.
• Confidence interpreting and applying legal and commercial principles.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple contracts simultaneously.
• Experience using contract management or CLM software.
• Enjoy building structure, improving processes and creating clarity from complexity.
