Contract Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking an organised, proactive Contract Team Leader to support leakage and network performance delivery across the South‑East Water region. You will work closely with Regional Leakage Managers and lead a team of Data Maintenance Technicians, ensuring monitoring devices, systems and field activities run smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and support a team of Data Maintenance Technicians in daily field operations.
• Plan, prioritise and track multiple workstreams using in‑house systems such as Waternet.
• Maintain accurate operational records, logistics and compliance documentation.
• Assist with incident response, audits and site‑based activities.
• Monitor performance metrics and contribute to reporting and delivery standards.
• Drive improvements in task flow, data reliability and asset performance.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and planning abilities, able to keep teams aligned.
• Experience in operational coordination, team support or field delivery.
• Manual driving licence is essential.
• Proven communication skills and the ability to work with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail with a focus on records, logistics and performance targets.

Required skills

• Waternet (experience beneficial, training provided).
• Maximo or similar leakage network management tools.
