Contracts Manager – High Voltage (Hamilton)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager with a strong background in high‑voltage electrical engineering to lead and grow a new business unit within an established engineering organisation based in Hamilton, Scotland. The role offers full ownership of the High Voltage profit centre, including operational performance, commercial growth and team development.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day operations of the High Voltage profit centre, overseeing contracts, budgets and profitability.
• Develop and maintain client relationships to generate new business and drive long‑term growth.
• Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, to high technical standards.
• Lead and motivate a team, fostering professional development and performance.
• Monitor commercial performance, P&L and budget adherence.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing contracts, operations or projects within the electrical industry.
• Strong commercial awareness with hands‑on P&L and budget management.
• In‑depth knowledge of high‑voltage and low‑voltage electrical engineering services.
• Leadership experience with the ability to develop and motivate teams.
