Contracts Manager – Landscaping

About the role

Our client designs and builds luxury residential gardens and landscape projects for the super‑prime market. They are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead hard‑landscaping installations valued between £30k and £300k, with strong technical knowledge and the ability to communicate confidently with clients and designers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead multiple landscaping projects simultaneously, ensuring delivery on time, on budget, and to specification.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of luxury garden and landscape projects, maintaining high quality standards.
• Foster a positive, efficient, and communicative team environment.
• Manage project implementation, focusing on quality, timeliness, and adherence to stringent quality plans.
• Produce monthly project reports, maintain accurate progress records, and manage procurement of long‑lead‑time materials.
• Ensure project execution meets reporting requirements and keep detailed records of materials and labour.
• Provide comprehensive reports on project quality, deadlines, and performance for senior management.
• Utilise office software such as email, Excel, and MS Project to streamline tasks.
• Demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt to new skills in a dynamic environment.

Required profile

• Solid technical experience in all aspects of hard landscaping.
• Previous experience as an on‑site foreman on landscaping projects.
• Ability to set out complex projects and raise quotes from detailed designs using Excel.
• CSCS Management Card (essential).
• SSSTS / SMSTS (preferred – training available).
• First Aid at Work (desirable).
• Valid driving licence.
