Contracts Manager – Roofing (North East England)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to lead roofing contracts for a multi‑disciplinary construction and civil engineering firm. The role is based in Chester Le Street and covers projects across the North East, with a daily driving range to customers in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee multiple contracts simultaneously across civil, construction, refurbishment, roofing and utilities sectors.
• Act as the primary point of contact for high‑calibre customers, ensuring project delivery within scope, time and budget.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external subcontractors to manage project milestones.
• Maintain accurate contract documentation and reporting.

Required profile

• Proven contract management experience within the roofing industry.
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Valid UK driving licence and ability to travel within the North East on a daily basis.
• Full‑time availability, Monday‑Friday, 40 hours.
