Control Panel Wirer & Site Installer – Electrical Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Control Panel Wirer / Site Installer to join a specialist engineering team. You will work in a purpose‑built manufacturing facility near Rochdale, wiring control panels and assembling state‑of‑the‑art equipment, with occasional travel to customer sites across the UK and internationally.

Key responsibilities

• Wire electrical control panels and assemble related components.
• Install cable management and wiring systems in the factory and on‑site.
• Travel to customer locations to install bespoke machinery, often requiring overnight stays.
• Read and interpret basic wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.

Required profile

• Proven experience wiring control panels or similar electrical equipment.
• Ability to read basic wiring diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Level 3 Electrical qualification or equivalent experience.
• Willingness to travel and stay overnight when required.
