Control System Support Engineer

About the role

Join a leading automation and control systems provider as a Control System Support Engineer. You will deliver technical support for PLC, SCADA and HMI solutions across the UK, including periodic on‑site assignments in London.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line technical support to clients, troubleshooting PLC and SCADA issues.
• Conduct routine inspections, system audits and preventative maintenance.
• Analyse complex faults and implement system upgrades or modifications.
• Train end‑users on operation, troubleshooting and maintenance of control equipment.
• Travel to client sites throughout the UK and undertake week‑long on‑site assignments in London, with accommodation and a weekly allowance provided.

Required profile

• Proven experience supporting control systems in an industrial environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Full UK driving licence.

Required skills

• PLC programming languages.
• SCADA systems.
• HMI design.
• Knowledge of industry‑standard control system protocols.
