Convenience Store Manager

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Convenience Store Manager to lead daily operations at our London, ON location. You will be responsible for ensuring smooth store performance, excellent customer service, and profitable merchandising.

Key responsibilities

• Direct and control all daily store operations, evaluating performance and implementing improvements.
• Plan, organize, and schedule staff shifts, assigning duties to a team of 3‑4 employees.
• Determine merchandise mix, set pricing policies, and procure products for resale.
• Monitor budgets, revenues, and expenses; prepare financial reports.
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff, including payroll administration and performance reviews.
• Handle customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages promptly.
• Maintain store security, safety standards, and ensure compliance with bondable and criminal‑record checks.

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• 2 to less than 3 years of retail management experience.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, under pressure and tight deadlines.
• Flexibility for early‑morning, evening, day, weekend, on‑call, and overtime shifts.
• Supervision of 3‑4 staff members.
• Bondable and able to pass a criminal record check.
