Conversion Rate Optimisation Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Conversion Rate Optimisation Manager to lead experimentation and optimisation across the full customer journey for a fast‑growing travel insurance provider. This high‑impact position will own the testing strategy, drive data‑led improvements, and collaborate with marketing, product and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and own the experimentation roadmap and CRO strategy across all customer touchpoints.
• Design, implement and analyse A/B and multivariate tests on email, website and direct‑marketing channels.
• Identify pain points in the customer journey and define optimisation opportunities.
• Partner with UX, engineering and marketing teams to execute tests and roll out improvements.
• Translate test results into scalable business actions and continuous optimisation frameworks.
• Champion a culture of data‑driven experimentation throughout the organisation.

Required profile

• Proven experience owning an end‑to‑end experimentation roadmap, not just contributing.
• Strong background in CRO, experimentation or optimisation roles within fast‑paced, commercial environments.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across marketing, product and technology functions.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as insurance, financial services or telecoms is highly preferred.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with experimentation platforms (e.g., Optimizely, VWO, AB Tasty).
• Expertise in designing and running A/B and multivariate tests at scale.
• Ability to analyse test data and derive actionable insights.

• Salary up to £60,000 per year plus a performance‑based bonus of up to 20%.
