Conveyancing Assistant – Residential Conveyancing Team

About the role

Eventus Legal are looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join a busy Residential Conveyancing team in Macclesfield. This permanent, full‑time position offers a competitive salary up to £30,000 and a supportive environment for professional growth.

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients, provide updates and take accurate messages.
• Draft contracts and obtain Land Registry documentation for sales.
• Reply to enquiries and assist with ongoing conveyancing matters.
• Conduct Land Registry searches and prepare completion statements.
• Perform ID verification and AML procedures.
• Work daily on a case management system, ensuring accurate record‑keeping.
• Prepare and maintain organised paper and electronic files.
• Meet with clients to review and complete documentation where required.

Required profile

• Previous experience in a conveyancing environment.
• Strong communication skills and confidence dealing directly with clients.
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
• Proactive, team‑focused attitude.
• Understanding of client onboarding, ID verification and AML procedures.
