Conveyancing Assistant – Residential Legal Team

About the role

We are looking for a Conveyancing Assistant to join our growing Residential Conveyancing team in Midhurst. The successful candidate will support conveyancers throughout the property transaction process, ensuring a smooth and client‑focused experience.

Key responsibilities

• Assist residential conveyancers in managing client transactions from start to finish.
• Onboard new clients, handle documentation and respond to queries throughout the conveyancing process.
• Obtain necessary property searches via online portals and prepare land‑registry applications.
• Maintain high‑quality service standards, prioritising client needs over transaction volume.
• Collaborate closely with team members and uphold the firm’s values of openness, responsibility and fairness.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a conveyancing role.
• Excellent communication and client‑management abilities.
• Strong organisational skills with the capacity to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Team‑player who embraces the firm’s cultural values.
