Conveyancing Manager – Office Based (Wigan)

About the role

The client is a fast‑growing property management and auction sales business based in Wigan. They need an experienced Conveyancing Manager to work closely with the property sales team, ensuring listings are accurate and completion deadlines are met.

Key responsibilities

• Obtain and examine legal documents, including Land Registry information, before listings are published.
• Verify buyer identities using appropriate software and handle day‑to‑day buyer queries related to auction listings.
• Prepare and issue the memorandum of sale after each auction.
• Manage AML requirements, obtaining proof of source of funds from buyers.
• Update systems and monitor the conveyancing process to ensure timely completion, communicating with solicitors, vendors and buyers.
• Assist with property sales tasks, future listing programming and occasional ad‑hoc administrative duties.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a property sales environment or a conveyancing department of a law firm.
• Strong understanding of AML regulations related to property transactions.
• Excellent communication skills with a record of punctuality and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with sales and legal teams.
