Conveyancing Paralegal Assistant – Full‑time

About the role

This full‑time position supports a boutique legal firm in Wantage, handling conveyancing matters from client contact through to completion. You will work on‑site in a fast‑paced environment, ensuring smooth property transactions and high‑quality client service.

Key responsibilities

• Order and process property searches, including OS2 and bankruptcy checks.
• Manage ID/AML procedures and compliance requirements.
• Draft contract packs, client care letters, and Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) forms.
• Communicate with clients, developers, brokers, solicitors and lenders via phone and email.
• Obtain and upload closing statements, ISA/LISA funds, and redemption statements.
• Submit SDLT payments to HMRC and arrange completion documentation.
• File AP1 forms with the Land Registry and respond to requisitions.
• Prepare and send title documents, completion letters and standard correspondence.

Required profile

• Experience using digital audio systems.
• Previous conveyancing or paralegal experience preferred.
• Strong customer‑service orientation.
• Ability to type quickly in a high‑volume environment.
