Conveyancing Paralegal – Residential Property

About the role

We are looking for a Conveyancing Paralegal to join a busy residential property team in Newbury. The successful candidate will support fee‑earners on a high‑volume caseload, handling transactions from instruction through to post‑completion.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with residential conveyancing transactions, both freehold and leasehold.
• Prepare contracts, completion statements and supporting documentation.
• Open and progress files from instruction to completion.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, lenders and solicitors.
• Order and review searches.
• Handle post‑completion work, including Land Registry submissions.

Required profile

• Previous experience in residential conveyancing as a Paralegal or Legal Assistant, or a law graduate with relevant exposure.
• Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end conveyancing process.
• Excellent communication and client‑care abilities.
• Well‑organised with high attention to detail.
