Conveyancing Paralegal – Residential Property Law

About the role

We are seeking an ambitious Conveyancing Paralegal to join a busy, well‑established legal team in Swindon. The role offers exposure to a varied residential property caseload, clear progression routes and ongoing development within conveyancing.

Key responsibilities

• Supporting fee earners on a full range of residential conveyancing transactions.
• Managing files from instruction through to completion under supervision.
• Handling sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders and third parties.
• Drafting contracts, SDLT forms and Land Registry applications.
• Carrying out searches and preparing reports on title.
• Providing excellent client care and maintaining strong relationships.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Conveyancing Paralegal or Legal Assistant within a property team.
• Strong understanding of the conveyancing process from instruction to completion.
• Experience handling a high‑volume caseload in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Strong communication and client‑facing ability.
• Proactive, career‑driven mindset.
