Conveyancing Paralegal – Residential Property Team

About the role

Join a long‑established law firm in Hungerford as a Conveyancing Paralegal supporting a busy Residential Property team. You will work alongside experienced conveyancers, gaining hands‑on exposure to the full transaction lifecycle in a collaborative environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist fee‑earners with freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, remortgages and equity transfers.
• Draft contract packs, request searches and prepare completion statements.
• Support SDLT and HMLR applications and manage client communications with professionalism.
• Ensure all administrative tasks are completed accurately and on schedule.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 months experience in a residential conveyancing team (ideal).
• Strong organisational and communication abilities.
• Confidence liaising with clients, agents, lenders and solicitors.
• Proactive, eager‑to‑learn attitude with excellent attention to detail.

Required skills

• Knowledge of conveyancing processes and documentation.
• Familiarity with property searches, completion statements and SDLT/HMLR procedures.
