Conveyancing Solicitor

About the role

Our client, a rapidly growing residential property law firm in London, is looking for an experienced Conveyancing Solicitor to strengthen its residential conveyancing team. The role offers exposure to a varied caseload, high‑quality work and clear long‑term progression within a technology‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage freehold and leasehold sales and purchases, including new‑build and shared‑ownership transactions.
• Handle remortgages, transfers of equity and title checking, providing detailed reports to clients.
• Raise and respond to enquiries, review mortgage offers and searches, and oversee contract exchange and completion.
• Prepare SDLT submissions, deal with Land Registry matters and ensure compliance with AML and regulatory procedures.
• Liaise with clients, estate agents, brokers and third‑party solicitors throughout the transaction process.

Required profile

• Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Legal Executive.
• Proven experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently.
• Familiarity with the London property market and complex leasehold issues (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of current property legislation and compliance requirements.
• Excellent client care, communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Organised case‑management skills and commercial awareness.
