Conveyancing Solicitor (Residential Property)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive to join our busy conveyancing team in Bedford. You will manage a varied caseload of residential property matters from instruction through to completion, working with an established client base.

Key responsibilities

• Handle freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
• Manage re‑mortgages, shared‑ownership and Right to Buy transactions.
• Process transfers of equity, lease extensions and other general residential conveyancing matters.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure timely completion of matters.

Required profile

• Qualified Residential Property Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or Chartered Legal Executive.
• Minimum 2 years post‑qualification experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload.
• Strong client‑care and relationship‑management abilities.
• Commitment to SRA, CQS and CPD compliance.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a case‑management system.
• Excellent legal drafting and communication skills.
