Conveyancing Solicitor – Residential Property

About the role
A respected, long‑established law firm in Banbury is looking for an ambitious Conveyancing Solicitor to join its thriving Residential Property team. The role offers a supportive, people‑first culture, a stable caseload and clear progression opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including freehold and leasehold sales and purchases.
- Handle transfers of equity, remortgages, new‑build and shared‑ownership transactions.
- Draft, review and report on title and contract packs.
- Liaise with estate agents, lenders, clients and fellow solicitors to keep matters progressing.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and lender‑panel requirements.
Required profile
- At least 1 year PQE in residential conveyancing (all levels considered).
- Strong technical knowledge and a proactive, solutions‑driven mindset.
- Ability to manage your own caseload with minimal supervision.
- Excellent communication and client‑care skills.
- Highly organised with great attention to detail; NQ solicitors with strong property experience are encouraged.
