Corporate Auditor

About the role

As a Corporate Auditor based at 3M’s headquarters in Bracknell, Berkshire, you will audit subsidiaries, service centres, plants, acquisitions and critical business processes, gaining broad knowledge of the company’s operations.

Key responsibilities

• Examine, evaluate and report on the accuracy of financial statements and the adequacy of operational and internal controls.
• Conduct interviews and walkthroughs with stakeholders to identify control gaps and operational improvement opportunities.
• Analyze data, select samples and test processes to uncover control deficiencies.
• Document audit findings, develop recommendations and communicate results both verbally and in writing.
• Follow up on the resolution of audit findings.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification and a bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting or finance.
• Relevant professional experience in accounting, finance or internal/external audit.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with business‑level fluency in English.
• Strong analytical, prioritisation and problem‑solving abilities.
• Integrity, professionalism and the ability to remain objective.
• Process‑focused mindset with an interest in continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with SAP.
• Experience using Power BI.
• Working knowledge of statistical sampling methodologies.
