Corporate Banking Relationship Manager – London

About the role

Assist the Head of Corporate Banking to achieve team and sales KPIs, supporting growth of the London branch in a sustainable, profitable and compliant manner.

Key responsibilities

• Grow baseline trade revenues, assets and returns from existing clients to meet individual and team targets.
• Enhance relationships with head office, domestic branches and portfolio clients to increase deal size and cross‑sell products such as loans, deposits, trade finance, cash management, FX, bond issuance and RMB business.
• Actively seek new corporate clients to expand the London branch’s asset base.
• Provide and promote high‑quality corporate banking products and services.
• Maintain accurate client and credit files.
• Conduct pre‑loan investigations, credit procedures and post‑loan management, including trade financing reviews.
• Perform corporate KYC and AML compliance work.
• Arrange legal documentation and negotiate contract clauses.
• Handle internal system tasks such as credit applications, reviews and maintenance.
• Mentor junior team members and produce high‑quality client support documentation and meeting preparations.

Required profile

• Minimum degree level or higher.
• Solid experience in the UK banking sector, developing corporate (non‑SME) clients.
• Ability to independently manage business development and transaction execution.
• Strong credit analytical skills (preferred).
• Demonstrated strong counter‑party relationships.
• Good understanding of banking procedures and compliance requirements.
• Eligibility to work in the UK with appropriate documentation.
