Corporate Banking Senior Analyst – Industrials Shipping

About the role

Citi is seeking a Corporate Banking Senior Analyst to join its UK Industrials team, focusing on Shipping, Logistics & Offshore clients. The role provides capital‑structure expertise and corporate finance advice while working closely with senior bankers on deal origination and execution.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior bankers to support relationship management and sector‑specific advisory.
• Assist in the origination and execution of episodic and strategic financing transactions.
• Conduct credit analysis, risk assessment, and periodic financial reviews of client portfolios.
• Develop client pitch materials and financial models, including projections and sensitivity analyses.
• Stay informed on market trends, industry outlooks, and competitive dynamics.
• Collaborate with product partners across Capital Markets, Markets, Treasury & Trade Solutions, and Corporate Finance/Lending teams.

Required profile

• Intermediate‑level professional with strong analytical capabilities.
• Experience engaging with senior client stakeholders such as CFOs and Treasury officers.
• Demonstrated interest or experience in the shipping, logistics, or offshore sectors.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, client‑focused environment.
