Corporate Banking Senior Analyst – Shipping & Logistics

About the role

The Corporate Banking Senior Analyst will focus on the Shipping, Logistics & Offshore sector for Citi in the UK. Working closely with senior bankers, you will provide capital structure expertise and corporate finance advice to clients across a range of financing transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior bankers to support relationship management and sector expertise for shipping and logistics clients.
• Assist in the origination and execution of episodic and strategic financing transactions, including DCM, ECM, acquisition and project finance.
• Conduct risk assessments, credit analysis and periodic reviews of financial performance, liquidity and operating results.
• Develop client pitch materials, market analyses and financial models to support deal execution.
• Collaborate with product partners across capital markets, commodities, derivatives, treasury and trade solutions.

Required profile

• Intermediate‑level professional with a strong interest in industrial shipping, logistics and offshore finance.
• Demonstrated ability to engage directly with CFOs and treasury teams.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience in financial statement analysis and credit assessment.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within cross‑functional deal teams.
