Corporate Broking Manager – South West

About the role

Brown & Brown (Europe) is seeking a senior Corporate Broking Manager to join its South‑West team, based in Clevedon (or Somerton). Working closely with the Sales Director, you will lead the region’s corporate insurance strategy, manage key client relationships and act as the primary liaison with insurers.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new‑business revenue and retain existing corporate clients across the South‑West.
• Attend client visits, providing expert advice and guidance on complex insurance placements.
• Develop and maintain a corporate pipeline, supporting telesales and prospecting activities.
• Coordinate quarterly corporate meetings, preparing content and agendas.
• Liaise with insurer partners to align opportunities with the company’s partnership strategy.
• Provide technical expertise to teammates and contribute to the overall corporate strategy.
• Manage debt collection, ensuring timely allocation of monies and reporting any issues.
• Conduct performance reviews, manage under‑performing staff with HR support, and lead direct reports.

Required profile

• Significant experience in corporate insurance broking and leadership.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and support a sales‑focused team.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting budgets and retention targets.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the capacity to act as a technical resource.
