Corporate Commercial Associate – Partner (Solicitor)

About the role

We have a unique opportunity for an experienced Solicitor, from Senior Associate to Partner level, to join our highly successful Corporate Commercial team in our Taunton or Exeter office. You will work on fee‑earning corporate and commercial matters while helping to grow the department’s client base and supporting team development.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver fee‑earning work on corporate and commercial client matters, including transactional and general corporate work.
• Develop and expand the department’s client base through business development activities.
• Assist in managing and developing the team, providing supervision and delegating tasks to junior members.
• Handle commercial contracts such as supply, distribution, franchise agreements and terms and conditions.

Required profile

• Ambitious, proactive and enthusiastic with strong interpersonal skills.
• Extensive corporate experience (both transactional and general) and solid commercial contracts experience.
• Ability to see the bigger picture and contribute to the firm’s growth.
