Corporate & Commercial Wealth Advisor

About the role

An established UK financial institution is seeking a Corporate & Commercial Wealth Advisor to manage and grow a portfolio of high‑value business banking clients. You will provide tailored, regulated financial advice and build lasting relationships within a modernising private client advisory function.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a portfolio of affluent client relationships with a focus on long‑term retention.
• Provide regulated financial advice tailored to each client’s circumstances and goals.
• Identify changes in client situations early and adapt advice accordingly.
• Keep knowledge of financial products, markets and planning solutions up to date.
• Grow the overall value and depth of the portfolio over time.
• Ensure client records and advice documentation meet internal and regulatory standards.

Required profile

• Recent experience delivering financial or investment advice to clients.
• Confidence advising on wealth‑planning tools and strategies for higher‑net‑worth individuals.
• Broad awareness of the financial services and banking landscape.
• Background in a regulated advisory environment with exposure to risk and compliance frameworks.
• Recognised investment qualification at QCF Level 4 or above (essential).
• Strong communication and relationship‑building skills.
• Positive attitude to change and adaptability.

• Proficiency with financial planning software.
• Proficiency with CRM software.
