Corporate Finance Manager – M&A Specialist

About the role

Join a respected corporate finance boutique as a Corporate Finance Manager/Director, working on UK‑wide M&A transactions. You will build profitable client relationships, manage deal processes and collaborate with third‑party advisers across a variety of sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and approach target companies through market research.
• Produce detailed information memoranda for investment and sale processes.
• Liaise with clients to understand business needs and reflect them throughout the M&A deal lifecycle.
• Present client businesses to potential purchasers and investors.
• Project‑manage transactions, coordinating lawyers, due‑diligence teams and banks.
• Analyse and prepare financial forecasts and business plans.
• Manage a personal client portfolio and respond to queries on active deals.

Required profile

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified.
• Experience in corporate finance, either within an industry finance role or an accountancy/audit practice.
• Strong business and entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to juggle conflicting priorities.
• Enjoys business development, client relationship building and travelling to client sites.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel.
• Financial modelling.

What we offer

• Base salary up to £55,000 per year.
• On‑target earnings potential of £100,000 in the second/third year, with no upper limit.
