Corporate Insolvency Assistant Manager

About the role

The firm is a well‑regarded specialist in corporate insolvency and restructuring, based in Cheshire. They are seeking a Corporate Insolvency Assistant Manager to support senior management and help drive case progression for businesses in financial distress. This position offers the chance to deepen insolvency expertise while taking on leadership responsibilities within a supportive team.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including CVLs, MVLs and administrations, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, creditors and other stakeholders, providing professional advice and regular updates.
• Assist senior management in supervising and mentoring junior team members to maintain consistent case quality and progression.
• Prepare and review statutory documents, creditor reports and case files, meeting all regulatory deadlines.
• Maintain strong relationships with all parties to facilitate smooth case administration.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate insolvency with a track record of managing cases.
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Relevant qualification such as CPI, or working towards CPI/ACA/ACCA is an advantage.
