Corporate Insolvency Practitioner – Work Winning Focus

About the role

This senior position is with a well‑established insolvency practice in Manchester. The role combines hands‑on case work with a strong emphasis on generating new corporate insolvency assignments and expanding the firm’s market presence.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the appointed Insolvency Practitioner on corporate cases such as CVLs, Administrations and MVLs.
• Proactively generate new instructions through existing introducer and professional networks.
• Develop and nurture relationships with accountants, solicitors, lenders and other referral sources.
• Represent the firm at networking events, industry meetings and forums.
• Oversee case strategy, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
• Provide leadership, mentoring and technical support to managers and case teams.
• Contribute to the firm’s strategic growth and market positioning.

Required profile

• Fully licensed Insolvency Practitioner (essential).
• Strong background in corporate insolvency.
• Proven track record of winning work and generating appointments.
• Established professional referral network in the North West or wider UK.
• Commercially astute with excellent relationship‑building abilities.
• Confident decision‑maker with a pragmatic, hands‑on approach.
