Corporate Insurance Manager

About the role

We are seeking a Corporate Insurance Manager to join a small, visible team within Group Treasury of a leading international financial services organisation. Based in London, the role offers hybrid working and involves managing the global insurance programme across multiple lines.

Key responsibilities

• Support the management and development of the group’s global insurance programme, focusing on financial lines such as Directors & Officers, Professional Indemnity, cyber and crime.
• Work closely with brokers and insurers to drive renewals, placement strategy and coverage structuring in the London market and internationally.
• Oversee operational aspects including premium payments, policy administration, local policy compliance and multinational coordination.
• Act as the internal subject‑matter expert, advising business units on coverage requirements, contractual clauses and risk transfer decisions.
• Handle claims and insurance‑related issues, including complex or sensitive scenarios.
• Strengthen processes, controls and governance, taking first‑line ownership of key activities.
• Contribute to broader projects such as M&A due diligence, post‑deal integration and emerging risk assessment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in corporate insurance, London market broking or underwriting with strong exposure to financial‑lines products.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate with Treasury, Legal, Finance and wider business teams.
• Hands‑on experience dealing directly with brokers or insurers and a solid understanding of programme structuring and renewal cycles.
• Comfortable working in a small, relatively unstructured team and communicating insurance concepts to non‑specialists.

Required skills

• Knowledge of Directors & Officers, Professional Indemnity, cyber and crime insurance products.
• Understanding of insurance policy administration, premium handling and claims processes.
