Corporate Solicitor (4-8 PQE) – St Albans

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Corporate Solicitor with 4–8 years post‑qualification experience to join our Legal 500‑recognised team in St Albans. You will work on high‑quality transactions for a diverse client base, enjoying close partner support and clear progression opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Advise on mergers and acquisitions, investments, shareholder agreements and corporate restructures.
• Handle corporate governance, constitutional matters and company administration.
• Manage banking and finance transactions, including share buy‑backs.
• Take ownership of transactions from instruction through to completion.
• Support larger, complex deals and collaborate with colleagues across the firm.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 4–8 years PQE.
• Strong experience handling corporate transactions.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation and communication abilities.
• Commercial, pragmatic approach to client advice.
• Proven ability to manage transactions and meet deadlines.
• Interest in networking and business development.
• Strong academic background; experience in banking, finance or healthcare is advantageous but not essential.
